We are looking for a QA Analyst with experience testing back end applications built on a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 platform.

The project is on an existing Data Warehouse platform, adding data feeds for inventory management and warehouse operations into our data set, and testing new ProClarity and Reporting Services reports for the inventory and Warehouse information.

Candidate will be required to use turnover documentation and previous experience with Data Warehouse to design test cases to validate the data is properly loaded from the source system into our data warehouse.

Heavy SQL querying skills are a must, and every day will be spent stepping through SSIS packages to determine not only if data was properly loaded, but that errors were trapped and proper people notified, and that Checkpoints are created and cleared properly.

Must be able to step through SSIS packages and interpret them to assist in testing the application.

Candidate should have 5-7 years quality assurance software testing experience, with 1+ years testing Microsoft SQL Server 2008 applications.

User should also have experience using Analysis Services and testing reports via Proclarity.

Additional requirements: priority will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience testing Data Warehouse specifically, on any database platform.

But must have MS SQL Server 2008 experience as well.
