Brief Job Description: 

Senior C# .NET Developer to be responsible for re-designing developing various critical components of a true real time system. All development is done in a modified Agile environment. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for: 

•           Software design and development

•           Interfacing with the architect and team leader

•           Designing client solutions in concert with the team leader

•           Working closely with the real-time server side development team

•           Interfacing with the product testing team

•           Interfacing with editorial users 

In an environment that includes the following technologies: 

•           C#, Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, XML/XSLT

•           NO WEB WORK and NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

•           WinForms

•           Visual Studio 2008/2010

•           Team Foundation Server 2010 

Most importantly: 

We are looking for a solid C# developer with strong experience in multi-threading, real or near-real time, TCP/IP and/or sockets.

All of the current code is written using Framework 2.0. looking for someone with enough experience to help us move to 3.5 or 4.0 so that we can take advantage of new language features. 

We are not looking for a web developer. Candidates with past experience with C++ are preferred. Understanding how Windows works under the hood will go a long way.
