| Overview: | The major goals, or projects, within Juvenile Justice are as follows: 1. Implement a system that is able to manage federal grant funds provided for program implementation to reduce Juvenile crime and generate reports for evaluating the effectiveness of the program. 2. Develop a mechanism to collect data from Youth As¬sessment Screening Instrument (YASI) system and provide data for research programs. 3. Develop a mechanism to collect comprehensive case level Juvenile probation data from county case management systems across the state. 4. Develop a system to process and maintain Office of Court Administration (OCA) data file which includes family court petition and disposition data for juvenile delinquents from OCA system. MANDATORY EXPERIENCE CANDIDATES NOT MEETING ALL OF THE MANDATORY EXPERIENTIAL REQUIREMENTS BELOW WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION Candidate must have eight (8) years experience designing/developing large scale application systems in a multi-tiered environment, at least four (4) years of which must be working in JEE Application Servers. Minimum two (2) years experience working as a team's technical lead. ASSOCIATED SKILL SETS Candidates must also have three (3) of the preferred skilled sets listed below. Accordingly, candidates not meeting the supporting experiential specifications below will not be considered for the position. Hands on experience with IBM IDE: Rational Application Developer (RAD) and/or Rational Software Architect (RSA). Candidate exhibits strong interpersonal skills including communication, innovation, problem solving and possess the ability to be an integral part of a team and work together toward a shared goal. Experience with IBM Portal server. Experience in creating detailed design documents and UML modeling. Experience with XSL and XML Schemas. Experience focused on medium to large scale integration/development projects, inclusive of multiple integration points. Hands on experience in designing and developing J2EE applications with Websphere (6.1 or above preferred). |
