Coding
Handles multiple complex modules independently
Suggests alternative solutions and best practices

Designing
Ability to understand the HLD

Documentation
Generate analysis report
Ability to write release notes
Generates good system documents

Testing
Reviews complex modules (unit and peer)

Quality Standards
Has a fair knowledge of quality standards in the organization

Experience Total Years: 3 to 6 yrs only

Relevant Years: minimum 3 yrs

Knowledge & Technical Skills Required Work Experience
 3 to 5 years experience in developing Core Java applications.
 Should be very strong in Core Java concept and well versed with using Collection Framework classes
 Should worked on multithreading / JDBC / JMS/ JNDI/ XML parsers/ Socket programming.
 Good Understanding and experience implementing Java patterns
 Should have worked with IBM MQ Series and should have done programming on MQ APIs
 Good understanding of asynchronous / synchronous messaging principles.
 Candidates should have worked with custom framework and custom adapters.
 Experience in PL/SQL and knowledge on RDBMS.
 Should have worked in UNIX environment.
 Expertise in Eclipse / Rational Tools.
 Experience in development project lifecycle.
 Understanding of telecom domain is plus
 Exposure to EAI / Web Services environment is an added advantage

Skill Set:

 Core Java - Collection Framework / multithreading / JDBC / JMS/ JNDI/ XML parsers/ Socket programming
 Good understanding of integration environment, XML and associated technologies (particularly XSD, DTD, XSLT, Java XML libraries eg: xerces).
 IBM MQ Series 6.0
 Good understanding and experience of RDBMS - especially Oracle
 Candidates having SCJP certificate is an added advantage
 IBM MQ Series is added advantage
 Deployment scripting (ANT / Maven Scrip)
 Unit testing concepts (JUnit)
 Code versioning (CVS / Clear Case)
 JDK 1.6
