Skill/Description

1.     Java – Associate/Technology Specialist/Architect

a. Must to have:

• Excellent knowledge in Java / J2EE, one of web server (Apache Tomcat, IBM HTTP Server, Weblogic), one of the application server (WebSphere/Weblogic/JBoss), one of the database (Oracle/SQLServer/DB2)

• Tools: Proficiency in atleast one tool in each category

Ø Profiling - Jprofiler/JProbe

Ø Monitoring - Wily Introscope/IBM Tivoli

Ø Analysis - WebLogAnalyzer

Ø Performance testing - Load Runner/Silk Performer/Jmeter

b. Good to have: This below skill is `must to have' for SA & above

• J2EE performance tuning, Knowledge of performance tuning on WAS, Websphere process server, Tuning JVM parameters, Performance test results analysis, Core Java, MQ, Message Broker

• Knowledge in WebSphere Commerce Server

• Experience in Performance Test Modeling

• Experience in Capacity Planning (Architect & above)

2.     Dot Net – Technology specialist

a. Must to have

• Excellent knowledge in .Net / C# .Net Framework, IIS Server, one of the database (SQLServer/Oracle/DB2)

• Tools: Proficiency in atleast one tool in each category

Ø Profiling - DotTrace/ANTS/CLR/VSTS Profiler

Ø Monitoring – PERFMON, Wily Introscope/IBM Tivoli

Ø Analysis - WebLogAnalyzer

Ø Performance testing - Load Runner/Silk Performer/Jmeter/VSTS

b. Good to have :This below skill is `must to have' for SA & above

• .NET performance tuning

• Knowledge in Microsoft SharePoint Server implementation

• Knowledge in Microsoft Commerce Server

• Experience in Performance Test Modeling

• Experience in Capacity Planning (Architect & above)
