This is an opportunity to work on one of the globe’s leading-edge financial platforms with a market-leading technology engineering firm.  

Location:- Bangalore

Responsibility:

• Work directly with Technology owner to help shape and implement a cutting edge technology program with critical impact for our client.
• Contribute to the technical code and design documentation. 
• Understand/apply reusable code design, leverage application architecture/framework capabilities and functionality, and design/develop solutions that are highly reliable, scalable, and perform to meet business-defined service levels. 
• Conduct code reviews and ensuring quality solutions are built and tested.
• Take full ownership of code quality through automated unit testing 
• Promote the use of Agile methodologies such as SCRUM within the enterprise.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent work experience required

·         3- 5 years of progressive experience in computing, development, architecture and/or client/server application integration and implementation

·         Proven experience deploying Java architectures and developing J2EE or Spring applications

·         Proven experience in automated unit testing and test-driven development

·         Excellent knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems

·         Familiarity with structured and unstructured raw data formats, including XML

·         Extensive experience with successful implementations of highly scalable and highly available systems in a multi-tier environment

·         Strong research, investigation and evaluation skills

·         Strong system analytic ability and practice

·         Proven ability as a team member or small team leader to communicate technical concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff

·         Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a highly dynamic work environment 

·         Strong analytical ability as it relates to system design

·         Strong verbal and written skills

·         The ability to see how individual components fit into the system as a whole

·         The ability to articulate concepts being learned and solutions to problems being solved.

·         Experience working with distributed teams across geographical regions

·         Curiosity and a desire deliver top quality work

Required experience:

• Software Development Experience - 2+ years
• Mature design, coding, testing and debugging skills
• JEE/Java – 3+ years of Enterprise Development Experience (Tomcat preferred)
• Unix / Linux – 3+ years of shell scripting development experience
• SQL: 3+ years of database experience (Oracle preferred)
• Spring - 2+ years (Spring MVC, Spring Batch preferred)
• Eclipse - 2+ years Experience
• 2+ years experience with agile development processes, specifically SCRUM

·         Messaging – JMS APIs, WebSphere MQ (preferred), SonicMQ, Tibco

·         Development tools (Ant, Maven, Hudson, Jira)

·         Subversion source control

Preferred Skills:

·         Exposure to ETL  tools and data warehousing

·         Enterprise Service Bus Technology: Mule (preferred)

·         Rules Engine Technology: Drools (preferred), iLog, Blaze

·         Business Process Management: jPBM (preferred)
