SQL DBA For Kuwait

The holder of this position will report directly GM and will be responsible for Database administration and maintenance. He will be working in Kuwait.

Skills:
- Should be Microsoft certified DBA or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of maintaining and created automated database jobs
- Should have at least 2 years of experience as DBA
- Experience of Oracle 11g is a must
- Experience of MS SQL 7/2000/2005 is a must
- Must understand RDBMS concept
- Knowledge of database backup and recovery
- Knowledge of Red Hat Linux or Linux environment is a must

Roles:
- Manage multiple database servers and clustered database system
- Maintain database integrity
- Manage database users with appropriate user rights and privileges
- Manage and optimize database scripts and tasks
- Manage database backup and recovery plans
- Perform periodical backups of data and transactions
- Create/modify/archive database and data for reporting
- Database design planning and implementation
