Profile Description
|
- work as Teradata Developer and must have knowledge of technologies like
- Teradata and Utilities (BTEQ, FastLoad, Multiload, Tpump, FastExport)
- RDBMS Concepts
- Query Optimization
- UNIX – AIX (Scripting)
- performance tuning - manage/modify database design to improve database performance and secure database, create/modify table relations to optimize query time
- identify and create effective audit checks to validate data transformations. Complete data exploration and address any data anomalies, gaps or issues
- create Teradata macros, documentation. Understanding the BRD and participating in client meetings to understand the business needs for new developments or enhancements
- involved in data extraction and loading using BTEQ, Fastload and Multiload
- manage/modify network settings to optimize database performance. Troubleshooting errors and performance issues
- ability to monitor/schedule/debug jobs and reconcile processes
- performing statistical analysis illustrated in jobs (Reports) and expert in writing T-SQLs/PL-SQLs for data mining and data scrubbing
