What we are looking @ Altimetrik:
 
Primarily responsible for developing solutions using state of the art technologies (Java, Spring/Struts, Hibernate, EIP, ESB, Mobile, Cloud etc).
He or she will have to proactively learn existing systems, lead enhancements - propose new ideas, while respecting consistency and standards of current team.
5+ years of relevant professional experience in developing applications with Java technologies, open source tools, Fluent English, solid understanding-experience on Object Oriented Analysis- Design, development techniques, patterns and best practices.
The candidate should have practical experience using Java frameworks such as spring, Hibernate, JDBC Practical experience using Oracle.
A must understanding of multi-threading or real-time programming with Java responsibilities, Scalable-distributed, fault tolerant calculations, complex software design patterns using the latest Java technologies Software testing frameworks (unit/non regression/user acceptance) & Normalized relational databases Secured systems.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Good in OOPS, OOAD and hands on coding experience (MANDATE)
• Strong Conceptual in all areas such as Web Application Development,
• Design Patterns, HLD and LLD, Design Principles, Troubleshooting skills.
• Code Review, Customer Advocacy, Architectural View, Customer Advocacy, Cluster Management, Strong Analytical Skills.
• Service Oriented Architecture exposure [8+ years]
• Integration Patterns, UML design expertise
• Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate / any ORM
• Exposure in Java Script and its frameworks
• Expertise in Webservices (RESTful or SOAP)
• Exposure in Web Security à Optional
• Exposure in Webservers and deployment activities.
• Be capable of taking complete ownership and accountability for product features/Code components
• Be a self-starter, able to deliver high-quality work with minimal oversight
• Be able to design different aspects of a system in collaboration with Architects/Senior engineers
• Be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams on various aspects of the solution.
• Ability to quickly ramp up and learn new technologies.
• Capable of developing high impact projects that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability, and time to market.
• Understand and participate in design discussions and implement them into robust code
• Increase overall code, product, design and quality in the organization
