Job Description:
- Develop Data Migration Strategy.
- Create plan for completing data migration activities.
- Usage of Data Conversion Tool for migration of data
- Creation of Data Migration scripts for SQL Server 2012 from excel spread sheets
- Create Migration and Reconciliation reports
- Conduct knowledge sharing session for the teams to increase the cross technical knowledge.
Essential Experience:
- Over-all experience in SQL Server, usage of any data migration tool for configuration and loading of data across database
- Has hands-on knowledge on SQL Server 2008 / 2012 and developed Stored procedures
- Self-Starter to analyse database and create migration strategy
- Has capability to modify existing scripts code developed
- Should have good analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Proactive in identifying issues and coming out with solutions and prepare documentation when not available
