Work with IT team for configuration of hardware/software to perform installations, testing, upgrades, as well as work with IT team on optimi s ation of data storage, efficiencies, capacity planning and database growth 2. Write and understand SQL / T-SQL . Be able to write SQL statements, stored procedures , functions, triggers and views using industry best practices for security and efficiency 3. Database and code management, review and documentation 4. Work with application developers to know how applications work and testing results 5. Security administration – monitor and administer systems security levels 6. Create and develop and manage internal procedures for various job functions within the systems 7. Change control and version control testing, processes and procedures 8. Works under general supervision, assists in analysis and design activities associated with the development 9. Provide support for existing software systems, database structure and data 10. Administration of databases including the analysis, design, and creation 11. Work with implementation team to build , customise and roll new solutions to organi s ation 12. Work with consultants to design and built database structure specific to organi s ation needs 13. Take responsibility for patch releases and software upgrades along with database related changes 14. Monitor system and database performance and resolve issues related to it 15. Work with business and implementation teams to build / customi s e reports as needed 16. Work with implementation team to undertake data migration activities from various systems and assist in integration activities for new systems 17. Work with implementation team to undertake Extraction, Loading and Transformation activities using SSIS 18. Interact with business teams to design and develop reports using SQL Reporting services (SSRS) 19.
