Skills Required : Support and contribute to the Aviation Supply Chain strategy for data integration Support simplification by reducing duplication and inconsistencies in the integration space Design, test, and implement ETL integrations for use between internal or external data stores Construct ETL specifications, provide fault isolation and resolution, tune ETL for optimum performance, and implement disaster recovery and contingency plans Assist others in their accomplishment of work assignments through technical leadership Provide technical expertise and counsel to IT program and project teams Represent the interests of Aviation Supply Chain and IT Simplification Provide leadership to multi-discipline teams to ensure ETL standard policies and guidelines are met Implement work activities to meet short and long term goals, monitor progress, and Make technical decisions by applying fundamental engineering principles and specialized knowledge or skills to assigned asksEstimate costs and schedules, recommend resource required and solutions to problems, which arise during the course of a project Establish the priority of work and assignment of personnel to meet objectives Serve as a primary interface with internal and external contributing organization relative to technical ETL requirements, directions and problem resolution Collaborate with management in developing technical directions, setting objectives, and setting realistic and challenging goals Formulate plans to achieve overall goals, technical requirements, schedules, and contract commitments for assigned tasks Implement work activities to meet these plans, monitor progress, and report status Identify resources required for implementation of the plans Provide timely leadership and direction to supporting organizations Assist in the modification or establishment of operating practices Qualifications/Requirements Graduate degree in Engineering (Computer Science/Information Technology/ECE/EEE/ or equivalent). Minimum 5+ years of IT experience, including experience with Requirements Gathering, Design, Development and Testing.
