Job Description :
Exp: 8-11 Years
Location: Chennai
Skills:

Experience of 8+ years for senior developers Domain / Technical

 * Knowledge and/or experience of the financial services industry will be a plus
 * Good understanding of software development life cycle and Agile/iterative methodology.
 * Prior experience in offshore-onshore development/maintenance projects
 * Ability to perform technical analysis, design and identify impacts (functional/technical)
 * Proven expertise in writing "good" code & experience in multi-tiered development projects

Technical competency in the following:
 * Good understanding RDBMS concepts
 * Perform reviews of PL/SQL code and suggest improvements
* Participate in problem identification and trouble shooting for PL/SQL optimization
 * Organize trainings and mentor developers to spread the good practices in PL/SQL writing -

Proficiency in: - Oracle (PL/SQL) - Performance tuning - UNIX (ksh scripting) - Added Advantage: - Oracle report builder - Knowledge of tools such as StarTeam (Configuration Management) and Quality Center - (Desirable) Others
* Inclination to understand and learn application/business functionality
 * Good communicator, fast learner & a Team player
* Attention to detail, disciplined and reliable
 * High motivation and confidence levels
 * Willingness to work on other technical tools
