Opening for Senior Network Engineer, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Leading Telecoms Operator based in Riyadh requires a Senior Network Engineer to provide technical leadership through development, research, analysis of current system design, developing and providing recommendations. Responsibilities: • Microwave links, and base stations. • Establish standard policy and procedure of network telecommunication system. • Evaluate communication hardware and software and troubleshoot all network related problems. • Develop, design and manage implementation, installation and configuration of network hardware (base stations, repeaters, Routers, Switches, etc). • Provide technical experience in design of fault-tolerant radio Networks as well as performance tuning of network infrastructure including high-end switches. Requirements: • Requires Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, or other related scientific or technical discipline. • Extensive experience in Telecommunication networks, of which several years must be specialized in TETRA network system design and maintenance. • Experience in developing and writing extensive network system RFP, and selecting and managing vendors to ensure timely completion of projects. • Must speak, read & write fluent English.
