This group is rapidly expanding to build next generation Smart Service Applications and is looking for talented, self-driven and capable software engineers who have the passion for innovation and strong technical leadership. Nature of the job involves research and development to build highly innovative solutions with technology rich software for a highly scalable cloud based deployment platform for customer and partner community. We are looking for a young graduates who are willing to be part of this challenging team of engineers, understands the services buisness requirements, collaborates with architects and system engineers, drives the design consistency acoss modules, administers reusability,modularization, performance & security through industry best practices, drives agile based engineering releases and can stepup to own the responsibilities. This role is of an individual contributor who loves to explore on innovation supported by technology towards conceptualization of a product. Requirement: ------------ - Computer Science/Engeering graduate/post-graduate from reputed institutes with good academic scores - Good programming knowledge with Java and associated technologies - Working knowledge with Unix, Linux & Windows OS - Working knowledge with various IDE, Java plug-ins, creating and building Java projects - Hands-on with entriprise application development with Java, Spring,Hibernate & PL/SQL is a plus - Knowledge on design patterns and Object oriented design is a plus Job responsibilities: --------------------- - Understand customer requirements and translate them into state of the art solution - Work closely with SW Engineers to design, develop, integrate and support applications associated with Cisco Smart Service offerings - Author software architecture, design specifications, catalogs, test documents etc. (as applicable) - Be flexible and adaptive to project dynamics & be self-learner and self-driver of assigned tasks. - Ensure good quality delivery through innovative design, coding and testing (unit/integration) best practices - Follow project defined process in deliverable and contribute to best practices & process to drive quality delivery - Good debugging and analytical skills to be able to get to the root cause of issues and drive resolution quicker for complex and challenging issues - Ability to research, propose and prototype new principles, technologies, tools and concepts and integrate them into the teams collective knowledge - Provide on-time support to customer reported problems post GA of the release - Promote knowledge sharing sessions in team and support organization initiative on innovation - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Able to plan and execute his tasks with minimal supervision - Team-player, can-do attitude, will work well in a group environment while being able to contribute well on an individual basis - Collaborates with global team on driving engineering responsibilities and keeps management updated on status, challenges & risks |
