Job Description :
•Be a subject matter expert with the SQL Server Database Solution
•Provide technical leadership to deliver client facing projects
•Deep technical understanding within SQL Server 2005 and 2008
•Developed schemas and databases for application integrations.
•Coded integrations and applications using the .NET Microsoft framework
•Follow and develop deployment best practices
Project Documentation Areas of Focus:
•Client Implementation
•Integration and interaction with contributing/dependent systems
•OSS integration
•Help with development, testing, support, and documentation
Job Skills:
Able to communicate effectively to clients and team members. Individual must understand client business requirements and map product offerings and experience managing large installations of 1 Terabyte or more.
Technology Skills:
Strong fundamental skills in Windows, Java and the .NET developer environment.
Candidate must have a deep technical understanding and experience with databases in general and SQL Server software in particular.
The candidate must also be knowledgeable in the architecture and integration of DB’s with SQL Server with Operations Support Systems in either the Fault, Performance, Provisioning, Warehousing or Ticketing realms.
Business Skills:
Must have significant knowledge and understanding of communication service providers and transaction processors (i.e. industry expert).
Strong customer presence and documentation skills are required.
Physical Requirements:
Position may require lifting or moving of personal items and computer equipment needed for travel in excess of 20lbs.
Employees in this position may experience long periods of travel on airplanes to reach client sites.
Additionally, the candidate may be required to sit at a desk for long periods of time during the day to accomplish tasks at the computer keyboard.
