Profile of an Oracle Projects functional consultant
1. Experience in full scale implementation of Projects Costing module in a multi-org environment
2. Deeper understanding of the auto accounting rules and mapping of GL codes to variety of project types and project classes and their impacts
3. Understanding of other Oracle E-Business Suite Applications and their integration with the Oracle Projects applications, like Inventory, AP, HR and other customized applications
4. Ability to guide and train the users (Finance and non-Finance)in day to-day operations and month end closing process which involves running various concurrent requests, interfaces and trouble shooting the exceptions
5. Able to help users to reconcile the Projects figures with corresponding GL balances
6. Ability to co-ordinate with technical team to provide requirements to develop and/or enhance reports
7. Ability to understand and support customized functionalities and workflows
8. Technical knowledge & Understanding of Oracle tables will be an added qualification
