There is an immediate opening for a JAVA / J2EE person with 4-5 years of experience in Qatar. 

The opportunity is with one of our existing customers in Qatar. mPower Global will take care of Visa, accommodation, traveling and local logistics. The assignment is initially for 1 year and extended for 1 more year. The detailed job description is listed below.

Job Description:

1.       Developer

Role description and required skills

·         J2EE focused on WebSphere development experience
·         Experience in production support of critical business applications utilizing Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Struts, EJB, JDBC, Spring, Hibernate, Web Services, Apache Tomcat , IBM Websphere Application and Portal Server (WAS/WPS)
·         Knowledge of jUnit & jWebUnit testing and ANT build environment
·         Experienced in WebSphere Portal and Portlet using Eclipse or Rational Application Developer
·         Developed and deployed Portlets using IBM portlet API and JSR 168
·         Understanding of basic object-oriented concepts
·         Knowledge of how to develop other aspects of the application
·         Experience with MIDP Application on all Java enabled phones including Blackberry devices, J2ME Configurations and Profiles, such as CLDC, MIDP and associated Java Spec Requests (JSRs)
·         Good communication, interpersonal skills backed by sound analytical, technical and leadership skills.
