Urgent Requirment for Technical Support Engineers - Saudi Arabia.

JOB DESCRIPTION for Technical Support Engineers :

About the Job :
• Provide analytical and technical solutions to service desk calls raised by customers.
• Install and maintain new hardware and software including moves and relocations.
• Assisting in the maintenance of workstations, printers, IT equipment and systems and client software.
• Adherence to deadlines and contributing towards successful closure of projects.
• Handling problems through to resolution.
• Resolving complaints and similar issues and acts to resolve customer support problems in a timely manner.
• Perform system testing, and provide technical support and upgrades to meet the requirements of the business.
• Interacting with other support groups to resolve problems, formulate plans and schedules and modify processes.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of technical support functions within a demanding production environment.
• Apply effective support remedial and problem resolution measures to deal with problems.
• Willing to work flexible hours.
• Expect occasional travel within the Kingdom..

About You:
• At minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Hold a valid Saudi driver's license (Mandatory requirement).
• Excellent command over the English language.
• Knowledge of Arabic will be considered an advantage.
• Self-starter with the ability to complete tasks in an unsupervised environment
• Have high inter-personal skills including politeness, and positive general outlook.
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent knowledge of Windows operating system architecture and security
• Experience in Linux will be considered an advantage.
• Good technical knowledge of MS Office products.
• A degree or diploma in Computer Sciences or a related discipline.
• In-depth knowledge of Desktops, Laptops and Point of Sale (POS) hardware support.
• In-depth knowledge of Wireless technologies and Mobility solution such as rugged hand held devices
• Experience working issues/cases at all technical levels.
• Strong understanding of the OSI model and ability to apply it in daily work
• MSDE, MCSE certifications.
• Very strong customer satisfaction focus.
