Cisco India underwent a restructuring exercise to focus on vertical markets rather than geographies, which has helped Cisco India become more business-relevant and providing solutions that directly impact customers success.

Cisco ranked second on their listing of top 100 networking and communication solution providers in the country for the year 2010–11. This was followed by a DQ Top 20 ranking where Cisco moved up to the 11th position in the listing of the top 20 technology companies in India.
