Job | Hiring SQL DBA : Synechron Technologies Pvt Ltds

Exp : 4-8 Yrs

Location : Pune


Job Description :

1. Designing, implementing, and maintaining SQL server databases (2005, SQL2008 & 2008R2 )

2. Provides production support by developing operations procedures such as backup/recovery to ensure database availability.

3. Provides L2\L3 level production support for data-related issues.

4. Experience in configuring and Troubleshooting on Log shipping, Replication and Mirroring in SQL servers.

5. Builds physical databases to support projects, reviews, tests, and evaluates the impact of changes to the database environment.

6. Setup and Troubleshooting SQL server clustering(VERITAS and Microsoft). Applying Patches to nodes on clustering (OS & SQL) and/or any other high availability features.

7. Experienced in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

8. Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, Memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention issues.

Added advantage if

9. Knowledge of ITIL processes and thorough understanding of Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management processes.
