Job Title: Software Engineer/ Senior Software Engineer (Unix Application Developer)

Job Description:

• Perform tasks related to the analysis, technical design, programming, and testing of Unix server applications used as part of a large scale, enterprise document management and manufacturing system. 
• Design, develop, test, implement and maintain business and technical applications
• Serve as a resource for technical support and staff training
• Work with Project Managers, System Architects, and Subject Matter Experts to ensure that both business and architectural requirements are correctly translated, developed, and integrated into the enterprise system

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CIS or MIS, or MCA or equivalent experience

Technical Qualifications:

• Programming proficiency (C, C++, Unix Shell Scripts)
• Experience in database management systems, code management systems, and advanced Unix programming techniques 

Work Experience:

• Minimum 3 years experience in application and system development in Unix environment for Software Engineer and 4 years for Senior Software Engineer

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Debugging and Trouble shooting skills

Work Schedule:

• Should be willing to work in shifts
