Job Description
1 Systems analysis and design
Interface with business process owners and maintain an overview and thorough understanding of their requirements
Translate business requirements into workable models with detailed technical requirements
Determine the potential solutions and present to business users
Assess the technical impact of change requests
Take direction from and work closely with Sr. Manager, Applications
2 Software development
Design and code software solutions based on requirements specificaitons using .NETor Sharepoint technologies
Ensure codes meets the requirements of existing code standards and conventions
Write and maintain test plans and assist with the creation of automated testing as required
Assure the quality of the software by interacting with business analyst and UAT users
3 Application support and maintenance
Support continued enhancements of business applications by recognizing problem areas and recommending solutions
Build and maintain technical documentation and investigation / evaluation documentation
Plan and scheudle periodic maintenance releases of applications, including enhancements and bugs
Work closely with infrastructure team to ensure proper maintenace of hardware and operating system used by the application.
Work closely with Service Desk process to ensure application support ticket is escalated and resolved on time within agreed KPI and SLA
4 Project support
Represent the system development team on project kick offs and project meeitngs to act as technical resource as requireed.
Ensure scheduled development tasks are done achieved on time as stated on the project plan
Support users during UAT phase and resolve issues encountered to avoid delays in the project plan

Person Specification
Education
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or any other computer related field
Technical certiciation from any Micrsoft technologies e.g. MCPD, MCSD, MCTS
Experience Fields
Experience and proficiency in .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, WCF, MVC, Silverlight, AJAX, JQuery, HTML5, WPF, IIS 7/6/5, LINQ Technologies
Expertise in developing and consuing Web Services using WCF, SOAP, WSDL
Experience in SQL 2000-2012 including writing T-SQL queries, SQL Server Agent, stored procedures and triggers
Experience and proficiency in Sharepoint Design, Development and Administration
Experience in SQL server reporting services.
Experience in Version Control Tools like Team Foundation Server, Visual Source Safe
Knowledge and understanding of full lifecycle development
Good communication skills as well as problem solving abilities and an aptitude to learning new technologies
