1.       Linux Tool chain Requirement 

Overview:

Linux Tool chain Developer and Tester 

Experience:

1-4 years of experience in developing the cross toolchain for Embedded distribution 

Must requirement:

·           Experience in using glibc system libraries and glibc internal details.

·           Pthread programming experience and developing multithreaded software using C/C++ language.

·         Experience in performing the testing of linux distributions like MVL and exposure to toolchain building, testing and RPM packaging and using it. 

Desireble requirement:

·           MIPS/ARM Assembly knowledge is desirable

·           Experience in using test suites like LTP (Linux Test Project) and able to debug the issues.

·           Experience in Scripting languages like Shell/python/perl 

Roles and responsibilities:

·           Developing toolchain and testing on embedded distributions 

2.  Fundamental Linux:

Overview: Linux internals developer with assembly knowledge.

Experience:

3+ years of experience in Linux internals & multi thread programming and debugging is mandatory skills. 

Must requirement:

Intensive experience in developing multi-thread software using C and C++ language.

Should be familiar in debugging and troubleshooting any issues.

Must have Experience in embedded distributions such as MVL, Build root, open embedded tool chain & debugging in this environment. 

Desireble requirement:

Knowledge of scripting (perl or python).                                 

Knowledge of open source software’s tools and usage.

MIPS/ARM Assembly knowledge is desirable. 

3. Linux Distro Testing Requirement 

Overview:

Linux distribution tester

Experience:

1-4 years of experience in Testing Linux Embedded distribution

Must requirement:

·           Basic knowledge in Linux system and using the linux variant distributions

·         Experience in performing the testing of linux distributions like MVL and exposure to RPM packaging and using it.

·           Experience in linux system testing, stress testing using embedded distribution

Desireble requirement:

·           Experience in using 'LTP' (Linux Test Project)

·           Experience in Scripting languages like Shell/python/perl

·           Experience in test automation tools (e.g. Buildbot, Hudson)

Roles and responsibilities:

·           Testing Embedded distributions

Maintaining various packages for various Linux distributions

4. Linux Kernel Testing: 

Requirement:   

  * Experience: 2-4 years

  * Basic knowledge in Linux kernel.

    - Have compiled, installed, used.

    - Does not need much knowledge in kernel internals.

  * Hand-on experience on scripting language ('Python', 'bash' script)

  * Keyword:

    * Experience in using 'LTP' (Linux Test Project)

    * Experience in test automation tools (e.g. Buildbot, Hudson) 

Rolls and responsible:

  * Testing kernels

  * Maintenance test systems

  * on various kernels and different products

5. UI Developer

Strong in Photoshop, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Very good in Flash, XML and XHTML

Very good logical & analytical thinking.

Very good communication/client communication

 Good to have: ASP.Net, JavaScript libraries and UI standards. 

6. Tool Chain

TOTAL WORK EXPERIENCE: 3 Years

Experience summary:

3 years of Experience in Embedded Linux Platform. 

Experience in GUI development using Gtk with Glade2.0

Experience in ‘System Level Analysis’ Time profiling and analysis on Samsung's SLP1.0 platform.

Experience in working with Customise ARM based Targets Innovate-9263,Innovate-255,Samsung S3C2410.

Experience in Porting Linux on to customised board Innovate-9263 and Samsung S3C2410.

Experience in building File systems (INITRAMFS,Ramdisk, JFFS2,yaffs) .

Experience in Cross-compiling Busy box , X-server , QT.

Experience in building CrossToochain

But we need engineers who have experience of “developing” toolchain.

7. Static Analysis

Experience 3 to 7 Years

1.       Should be very interested in static analysis activities and proactive to do multiple Task.

2.       Should be a Good Team player and has experience in mentoring, technical guidance team members.

3.       Should have very good knowledge in C, CPP [ java if possible ].

4.       Should have very good understanding in GCC, VS2005 complier atleast.

5.       Should have very good understanding in Perl/shell scripting .

6.       Should have Good hands on Linux and windows environment.

7.       Good understanding knowledge of Static analysis tool or solving bugs reported by this tools.

 

8.       Java,J2ee

Exp : 3+ yrs

Skill : Core Java,J2ee, good comm skills

Notice period: 15 days max

Only Bangalore candidates has to attend F2F.
