Job Responsibility: 

The job responsibility involves delivering IT Infrastructure operation services to outsourcing customer accounts on time, on target with quality. Level one server support position supporting UNIX/Linux servers located at different Data Centres across the world.  The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of the ITIL approach to IT service management for level one position. The activity involves Monitoring, Operations, and Incident Management. You will be working with large teams globally in a challenging and growing environment. 

 Minimum 2 years of relevant experience on Linux/ UNIX platforms 

Primary Skills Required: 

v      The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of UNIX/Linux server infrastructure

v      The ideal candidate should possess a technical certification (e.g. UNIX/Linux etc.)

v      The ideal candidate should possess understanding of security related issues in Unix environments.

v      Should have knowledge in user account maintenance

v      Should have knowledge in file system management

v      Should have knowledge in basic server support 

Desired Profile: 

v      Degree or Diploma in computer engineering or related disciplines.

v      Required certification ( any one of RHCE, AIX , HP-UX, SunOS, Solaris)

v      Minimum two years of work experience on Linux/Unix platforms

v      Excellent customer handling and presentation skills.

v      Excellent spoken and written English proficiency
