Position Summary

The Senior Software developer will be a part of a software development team that develops highly configurable platform based software for Fortune 500 companies. The development teams work in a highly collaborative mode operating across different countries/time zones using the Agile Development methodology.  

Education, Licenses, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related field 

Requirements and Qualifications

Experience:

·         Minimum of 5 Years experience in Software Development understanding the complete SDLC cycle, 3 years of which with Java or .Net

·         Minimum of 4 Years experience working with SQL Server or Oracle is preferred.

·         Successful experience working as part of a team, preferably in an environment governed by an agile development methodology such as XP, Scrum, or the UP

·         Experience with an object-oriented scripting language such as Python, Ruby, EcmaScript or Groovy a plus

·         Strong debugging skills

·         Strong code re-factoring skills and good working knowledge of design patterns is required.

·         Strong working knowledge of Object Oriented Programming

·         Paradigm using C++, Java or C#.

·         Web development experience, HTML, JavaScript and Java server-side technologies (J2EE) or Microsoft (ASP.NET) (Java Preferred)

·         HTML, Java Script, CSS working knowledge is preferred.
